Events from your Google Calendar appear in the BuHire calendar, read-only and clearly marked. They are loaded when you open the calendar and are not stored by BuHire.

Conflict warnings

When you schedule an interview, BuHire checks your busy times and warns you about overlaps. The warning is informative: you decide whether to go ahead.

What BuHire asks Google for, and why

View, create, edit and delete events in calendars you own: To add the interviews you schedule in BuHire to your own Google Calendar, and to show the events of the period you are viewing in the BuHire calendar. BuHire only uses your primary calendar. Events we read are displayed to you and are not stored.
See your availability: To warn you when a proposed interview time overlaps with a busy period. Only busy and free time ranges are used, never event details.
See your email address: To show which Google account is connected.

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. You choose what to authorize on Google’s consent screen, and you can disconnect from BuHire settings or revoke access from your Google Account at any time.
